  1. Is membership free?

    CDNC membership is free.

  2. Will my account information be sold and/or given away to a third party?

    The information collected from the online survey questionnaires are aggregated and summarized to create reports. Individual members’ information is Never shared with other members or non-members.

  3. I just registered with a Patient/Caregiver account and I didn't have time to complete the surveys in my Inbox. Can I complete them another time?

    Yes, the system will save the questions that you have answered to date. When you have time to complete the survey just reopen the survey and continue where you left off.

  4. The following instructions will turn off your CDNC notifications:

    1. Login to your account.

    2. Hover your mouse cursor over account menu in the header that starts with "Logged-in as" in the top right-hand corner of the website.

    3. Click "Profile". The Account Profile page will load. Scroll down to the "Notifications" section and select the "Edit (gear) Icon".

    4. Deselect the checkbox for "Receive Email Notifications" and click on the "Submit" button.

  5. What is the Apple computer equivalent to a CTRL key for multi-selecting items?

    The CMD key is the PC CTRL key equivalent.

This coincides with the search form in the header and within the pages.

  1. What is the minimum amount of characters for a keyword search?

    4 characters.

  2. How do I refine my search?

    Click the "Advance" button. This function is only available for the Research Articles & Reports, Clinical Trials and Organizations & Resources sections of this website.

  3. How do I show search results that has specific keywords?

    If you require a combination of words, enter + before each word. E.g. +Alberta +Cancer.

  4. How do I search using a partial word?

    You can perform a wildcard search type in the first two or three letters. E.g. Inj*. This returns all of the resources for Injury.
